Jeff Chou, CEO and Co-founder of Sonatus, recently authored an insightful article on mitigating the chip shortage with new vehicle software architectures for Automotive News.

"The global semiconductor chip shortage has stalled the auto industry. To date, global automakers have reduced their production plans by almost 10 million vehicles, costing them over two hundred billion dollars in lost sales in 2021.

It comes down to a convergence of factors, including the significant and growing use of semiconductor chips in modern automobiles, surging demand for chips across industries, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on automotive and semiconductor production and freight logistics."
